Accounts Receivable Specialist

Within the Finance department, we are looking for someone who will focus full‑time on accounts receivable management. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you are responsible for managing and optimising our accounts receivable processes.
You monitor timely and accurate invoicing, track outstanding receivables, and ensure efficient follow‑up through reminder workflows and customer contact. You monitor payment agreements, identify and assess risks, and take proactive action. You are also responsible for managing collection procedures and, when necessary, maintaining contact with collection agencies and bailiffs. In addition, you analyse data and prepare reports to provide insight into financial processes.
You work closely with colleagues from various departments and contribute to a healthy cash flow and satisfied customers. You report to Marco Kivit, our Group Financial Manager.
Your daily tasks
- Actively managing outstanding receivables portfolios for various Dutch and international entities within the Voerman Group
- Expanding this management to other entities within the group
- Following up on payment delays by phone and e‑mail
- Monitoring payment arrangements and credit limits
- Analyzing payment behavior and identifying risks
- Managing collection procedures
- Processing payments and handling the related administration
- Preparing periodic management reports
- Managing data in the credit management tool
- Contributing to process improvements within the financial administration
