Tasks

  • Pro-active management of international relocations from initial inquiry until final invoicing
  • Daily communication via phone and email with our international expat community and other stakeholders
  • Updating of all records and databases
  • Pro-actively solving any issue as soon as it arises, keeping all relevant parties informed
  • Procurement of services from suppliers, making sure costs remain within budget without effecting our everyday delivered quality

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and additional languages are a plus
  • Good computer skills
    High level of accuracy
  • Not afraid to step out of your comfort zone
  • Ability to work within time in a fast-paced environment

About the job

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for collecting all payments on behalf of the Voerman Group, both in The Netherlands and around the world. 95% of our client base consists of international companies. While being part of the Czech accounting team, you will work together closely with the accounting colleagues in the Netherlands.

About the office

Our office is in Modletice, outside Prague. We have about 25 people, originating from many different countries. The wellbeing of our employees is important, and the workspace plays an important role in this. Our common language is English.

Tasks

  • Communicating with clients and customers to request and arrange payments
  • Maintaining bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
  • Recording and tracking invoices and payments
  • Updating client accounts based on payment or contact information
  • Creating periodic and ad hoc reports (AR, DSO, ADD), using Excel
  • Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvement

Requirements

  • Experience with debt collection, minimum of 3 years
  • Fluency in English. Affinity with the Dutch language would be a plus
  • Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Excel
  • Experience with “EXACT” -financial software- would be a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Not afraid to step out of your comfort zone
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Czech residence and work permit
