Preparation

Through preparation is essential for any successful international move. At Voerman International, we have an abundance of experience in preparing our clients as we facilitate more than 10,000 moves per year. We are happy to provide you with helpful information and advice to make your move successful.

Moving to another country affects the whole family in many different facets of life, and children can be especially sensitive to the changes they face when moving to a new home. We can provide a wide variety of relocation services at your new destination to make this transition much easier. Our relocation experts can assist you with destination services such as school search, finding child care, orientation tours, and connecting you to local networks to help establish your social life in your new home. We can also offer language and culture courses for your destination country to better help you adjust to your new environment.

The Move

At the very beginning of the process, your designated moving coordinator will be in touch to discuss all the relevant details related to your move. We will then arrange a surveyor to visit your home to estimate the volume of your goods and take note of any special packing required for fragile or valuable items.

Once we have the info we need we will present you a detailed plan and a price quotation that includes all costs related to your move and a timeline of when your goods will be packed and when they will arrive at your new home.

For international moves we will advise you on export and import information and assist you with all necessary documentation so that your goods can move efficiently through customs.

Our packing crews are experienced and fully trained to ensure that your goods are packed with care and professionalism. We use only the best and most sturdy packing materials to protect your items as they go through transit to your new home. You can count on us to take care of everything for your move.

Move Management

Move management is about providing personal care and attention to our clients from start to finish. You will have a personal coordinator assigned to your move to be there with you throughout the entire process to answer any questions or take care of any issues that may arise.

Our worldwide network of moving and relocation partners offer a broad range of services to help our clients with every aspect of the moving experience at both origin and destination. Additionally, our specially designed IT platform enables us to quickly and efficiently adapt to the wishes of our clients. We take care of things every step of the way, so you don’t have to.

Your personal IT portal

We offer our clients their own personal portal where they can find all the relevant information related to their move. This portal is accessible 24/7 from any computer, tablet or smartphone. By logging into the portal, you can follow your move step by step, easily upload or download documents, and set appointments.

Our portal also offers relevant information for people working in the Global Mobility field. Current offers, important dates, and reports or tracked histories of the entire year are available.
