Voerman International helps dream come true
Published on 4 July 2013The Foundation for Mentally and Social Welfare Handicapped Netherlands (SWGN) selected in cooperation with the centers for people with intellectual and multiple disabilities for the project: “Make The Dream Come True”.
From 16 to 18 April 400 mentally disabled people and their companions traveled to Disneyland Paris. They enjoyed their visit and their dream has come true thanks to the participation of Voerman International in the project. Many children have the desire to meet their Disney friends in “real life”. For them, this is truly the trip of a lifetime. Disneyland Paris is chosen, because this theme park fits well into the perception of an intellectual and multiple 
SWGN aims to organize projects that promote the mental and social well-being of particularly disabled and chronically ill. In cooperation with institutions and daycare centers for people with disabilities is initiated a project. Institutions often have a vacation trip for their residents on the list.
