Restored buildings on curacao

As an account manager you always try to keep up with new developments and innovations. Because I annually stay a couple of days on Curacao to visit our regular accounts and agents, I see a lot of changes on this beautiful island.

In the district Scharloo there are dilapidated buildings but also beautifully restored buildings that are increasingly earning a spot on the world heritage list.

The district is being renovated and major companies are increasingly taking possession of the in the beginning almost ruined buildings. After a thorough restoration, renovation and a nice tan with paint, the new building often looks as good as new. Attached some pictures of these extreme changes.

The absolute advantage of this change is that the district gets a very nice character but the disadvantage of these beautiful buildings is that after the office hours the district looks deserted and there is unfortunately nothing more to do. If you are on Curacao, this district is definitely a must see.
