Certified GMS specialists

End of February two members of the team of Eurohome Relocation Services, Bianca Blankestein and Marije Peddemors visited London to finalize the last ERC modules. With finalizing this training they were able to attend the final exam to become certified GMS specialists GMS.

The Employment Relcocation Council (ERC) is an organization which gives a platform for companies and individuals whom are active in the relocation branch.
Next to providing a platform for networking, the ERC expands activities to bring theory closer to practise. During the well organized congress there was a full program with speakers informing the public regarding new tendencies in HR policy and new trends in workforce.

Next to the congresses which the ERC organizes the ERC offers courses and training for HR staff, realtors and relocation coordinators. People who all are involved to make the relocation of an expatriate succesfull.

The GMS training contains 3 modules:

• International and National Assignment Policy Development
• Policy Alternatives, Strategies and Tactics for Global Workforce Mobility
• The Intercultural Challenge: Doing Business Globally

Last year the ERC was in Amsterdam in The Netherlands and Bianca and Marije already followed one module. This year in London the training was continued. Both ladies experienced the course as very informative and instructive. Besides the learning part was it also very nice to meet coordinators of other companies personally with which Eurohome cooperates worldwide.

The training took place on the 23rd and 24th of April. It was a very educative experience with a lot of personal contact with other coordinators. Bianca and Marije look back to a wonderful experience in the beautiful city of London.
