Is the new residence not yet available or is there a shortage of residential space? We see an increasing demand for the external storage of personal belongings and it is less expensive than one should expect.
Short term storage of a household, for instance because a new residence has not been found yet, can quite easily and most economically be arranged, separately or as part of the national or international moving process.
All goods are loaded at residence into one or more special storage containers which, locked and sealed in presence of the owner, are transported to and placed in one of the Voerman container warehouses. Based on the available budget, the loading can either be handled by Voeman professionals or by the owner him/herself.
Also for longer periods of time, in case of a longer stay abroad for instance, it is much cheaper to put the goods in our storage then to leave them in a rental house. Also cheaper than, what is becoming more popular nowadays, to rent a commercial Self Storage location.
Upon request the containers will, on the requested date and time, again be redelivered to the (new) residence, wherever this may be, and the contents unloaded and redelivered back into the house. This can again either be handled by a Voerman crew or by the owner, again depending on the personal requirements of the owner.
